PYONGYANG – The thrilling race for AI supremacy just got a new contender. North Korea has now unveiled its very own AI model.
“DeepSheet will dominate the world, and America’s downfall is inevitable. All other AI models are inferior to DeepSheet, which was personally developed by Kim Jong Un,” North Korea announces in its trademark martial rhetoric.
OpenAI already found itself in hot water last week when China launched “DeepSeek,” an open-source competitor. NVIDIA experienced heavy stock turbulence. Now, the situation has reached a boiling point, with North Korea entering the AI race as well.
Innovative No-Open-Source Solution
DeepSheet boasts an innovative no-open-source solution. “It’s what you’d expect from North Korea. Anything fun is reserved for Kim Jong Un. This solution is no different,” explains an AI expert. According to him, the computing power of the new North Korean AI model is expected to set new benchmarks.
Our calculations suggest the performance is roughly on par with a Canadian wild goose, which is quite impressive. OpenAI’s performance is about that of a 2-year-old, and DeepSeek is just a cybersecurity hobby project.
